Egg Stampers

With Easter around the corner, we decided to include a fun stamp painting activity, resembling an Easter egg!

Carving out stamp designs from a potato, or any leftover vegetable is in part, super relaxing, and in part, a great activity to get your creativity going!

What you need:

–           Leftover potatoes/ any leftover vegetable

–          A knife

–          Marker

–          Paint

–          Paper

Steps

1: Cut the potato into 2 halves.

2: Take a marker a simple pattern on either of the 2 halves. Use a knife to carve out the design accordingly.

3: Take some paint on a plate or a board. Dab the carved potato half onto the paint.

4: Your stamp is ready! Dab the stamp on the paper and create the designs you like!

Decorate the designs obtained on the paper with sparkles, glitters, or even ribbons. These egg stamper made from potatoes are a simple yet highly engaging activity for the young minds.

Who knew leftover vegetables in the pantry could be turned into such amusing art tools?
