1. Chop the strawberries rough and put them in a bowl. Add sugar and pectin powder in the bowl with the strawberries.
2. Leave it to rest overnight uncovered. This will help the natural juices of strawberries secrete and mix with the sugar, which will help make the jam even better.
3. Take a pan and put it in low heat and add the mixture in it that was created with strawberries, sugar and pectin powder. Make sure that the entire sugar dissolves.
4. Once the sugar is dissolved, turn the heat high and let it boil for 1-2 minutes
5. To test, take a little bit of jam on a cold plate and shake the plate to check whether the jam is thick enough or is it runny. Continue cooking till the jam is set.
6. Let the jam completely cool once cooked. Later, transfer it into a clean jar and your strawberry jam is ready.
