Early Learning with Firstcry Intellikit – Transport Trails

You guys may know by now that I take early learning very seriously. Early learning sets a foundation for introducing the children to STEM and sensory activities. It helps them learn different shapes, numbers and alphabets, which play an important role for their future growth. Early learning doesn’t just stop here. It motivates the child to explore and develop multiple skill sets from motor skills, problem solving skills to grasping new logical reasonings.

As a mommy blogger, I look up to products that really help in the development of my child’s growth. Firstcry Intellikit has always come in handy when I wanted the boys to learn and have fun at the same time. They offer great activity kits, categorized by age groups, designed by experts and loved by parents. There kits are designed to reduce screen time and create quality time to spend together.

We recently received a fun kit by Firstcry for my son who is 2 years old. It is themed as Transport Trails Intellikit, which I am thrilled to review for you guys.

This kit is specifically designed for ages 2-3 year old, and is filled with delightful activities with wheels, cars, trucks, boats and even rockets.

It comes with 8 expert-designed age-appropriate activities, a story book to explore reading and a 4-week long calendar of activities to the children engaged all month long.

There are total number of 8 activities, 10 worksheets and intellicards.

  1. Vehicle Puzzles is logical play to help the children reason and understand patterns while solving exciting vehicle puzzles.
  2. Park the Vehicles is also a logical play to improve children’s sorting skills while they create a small parking lot.
  3. Car Craft is a craft activity to bring out the artist in your little one while they paint and assemble a car together.
  4. Tyre Tracks is a creative play to enhance children’s motor skills while they construct a miniature truck.
  5. Colour Fun is a competitive play to work on the children’s social skills while they arrange colourful chips on picture cards.
  6. Shuffling Shapes is a logical play to improve the children’s spatial awareness while arranging cutouts of shapes on a board.
  7. Modes of Transport is a set of Intellicards to enrich vocabulary & develop knowledge around the theme.
  8. On the Go is a storybook to explore the fantastic world of storytelling while enhancing your child’s linguistic skills.

My views on Firstcry Intellikit – Transport Trails

This kit has been designed very thoughtfully. I was able to explain the concepts behind the activities to my son very easily. He was able to tap into the activities himself, and didn’t ask for much help which was great. He seemed curious to try out the activities and learning as he went on. All in all, it is a must-have and every parent should try it.
