Crackling Spinach Recipe

Our starter for today will put you in absolute awe!

Ever heard of crunchy spinach leaves? Or a spinach based dish that your kids might savour? I present to you, the crackling spinach!

This easy, yet flavourful preparation runs high on the nutrition factor too.

    • Spinach – 2 cups
    • Cornflour – 1 cup
    • Chopped garlic – 8 cloves
    • Sesame seed – to taste
    • Light Soy sauce – 2 table spoon
    • Sugar – 1 table spoon
    • Salt and pepper to taste



    1. Coat your chopped spinach really well with cornflour.

    2.Heat oil on medium flame and make sure you drop spinach little by little. Too much of it will stick together and not be separate.

    3. Now fry them and take it out without squeezing the oil on a kitchen towel. If we try squeezing out the oil the spinach will stick together again.

    4. Now take another pan and heat some oil and sautéed chopped garlic, sesame seed and soy sauce and then add in your spinach.

    5. Add salt and pepper to taste and add some sugar. Mix it well and serve hot!

    There you go, your spinach is now all crispy and drizzled with flavours!
