Firecrackers from Scratch Art

With the festive season all around, on the last day of the year 2019, we bring the nostalgia inside us and our childhood days and come forward with making some firecrackers through scratch art. With the New Year approaching, we are as excited as you are but before we start off to another brand new year, let’s reminisce our old good childhood days and get the kids on board with the same.

What You Need:

  • White Paper
  • Crayons
  • Black water color
  • Pencil

Step 1

Let your kids colour the entire white paper however they want to.

Step 2

Once your child has coloured the entire white paper, paint it with black watercolor. Make sure the paint is really thick or go for a double coating of the paint.

Step 3

Let the paper dry completely.

Step 4

Scratch and draw fire crackers using a blunt pencil.

Viola! Your Fire crackers from scratch art is ready.

A simple DIY for your child that will keep them busy and have fun with art too. I am sure you too have gone through this simple experiment in your childhood. Let’s keep it alive, real and a fun experiment this New Year’s Eve.
