Since we have been doing quite some activities with chickpeas, today we thought to do an activity which can be done or rather be created at home with kids which again will include of chickpeas but with a twist i.e. we would be creating a color sorting chickpeas box with diaper covers.
What You Need:
- A Carton or a box
- Brown Paper
- Scissor
- Diaper Covers
- Knife/Cutter
- Chickpeas
- Colored Paper
- Glue
Step 1
Take a carton (we used a play-doh box) and wrap it with the brown paper in order to give it a rustic feel.
Step 2
Take the diaper covers and apply glue at the back side of them and paste it on the brown paper.
Step 3
Take the same colored paper of the colored chickpeas and apply glue to it. Further, paste them on the top of the diaper covers.
Step 4
Open the lid of the diaper cover and cut an oval shape for the space in which we would put the chickpeas in and color the rest of the area left.
Step 5
Take the chickpeas out and place it according to the color of the sorting box.
Viola! Your Color Sorting Chickpeas Box with Diaper Covers is ready. Throw in some chickpeas on the sorting boxes and color coordinate it. Such an easy and fun activity and makes the kid a little disciplined too.
