Number tracing pizza

Number Tracing Pizza 🍕123

Did anyone say pizza? And my little one jumps to the sound and comes running thinking he’s going to get a slice.

Since we are home schooling and teaching numbers we made this number pizza!

It incorporates tracing, matching and counting to help the younger ones memorise numbers.

What you need:

   –   Cardboard

   –   Paints

   –   Cutter

   –   Scissors

Steps:

1. Cut a cardboard in the shape of a pizza. Draw and paint a fixed number of toppings on each slice.

2.  Use some more cardboard and cut it into slices. Carve out the numbers corresponding to the number of toppings on the pizza slices.

Ask the kids to trace out the numbers on the triangles. Then ask them to count the toppings on the pizza and accordingly place the triangles on the pizza.

Through this activity the kids will retain the numbers a lot more easily. Recognising numbers comes first and then comes the next step which is to trace them.

Recognise, trace, count and match!

Learning numbers was never so easy!
