How can a child be not fascinated by kites? A paper toy flying in the sky just like birds. We all were; were we not? As a child every year I used to visit my grandmother’s house and see my grandfather fly kites. I used to be such a curious kid that I used to sit and admire and learn from how my grandfather used a string to fly kites but never got a chance to fly it in years. Recalling that childhood memory I wanted to make a kite with the boys and since we didn’t have many materials we made one easy one with a brown paper bag and some shiny streamers we had at home. Could you image a kite from a brown bag?
Let’s dig into the blog and figure out how a paper bag can be converted into a beautiful kite? Are you not interested?
What you’ll need:
Brown Paper bag
Paintbrushes
Paint colors
Small punching machine
Ice cream stick
A piece of string
Party props
Fevicol glue
Method:
Place the paper bag on a stable counter.
Paint your favorite thing on the paper bag.
Open up the bottom of the paper bag and flatten it out.
Using a punching machine, punch a small hole in the middle bottom of the paper bag
Tie the piece of string to the ice cream stick and pull the free end of the string out of the hole in the bottom of the paper bag that you just made right now
Get your party poopers out and stick them to the inside of the paper bag with glue
Take your paper bag kite outside and fly them into the sky!
