Recycling waste is super important and is the absolute need of the hour. Teaching children the value of nature shouldn’t be restricted to nature walks or just plain theory. As I always say, learning by doing is the best way to go!
Our colorful Fire Breathing Dragon is made out of simple household supplies that you can easily arrange for.
What you need:
– Toilet paper roll
– Green, red, orange paper and ribbons
– 2 small pom poms
– 2 googly eyes
– Glue
Steps:
1. Glue the green paper around the toilet paper roll neatly.
2. Take the 2 pom poms and glue them towards one end of the roll. Stick the googly eyes on the pom poms.
3. Take 2 small strips of green paper and make 2 tiny balls. Now glue them towards the other end of the roll, to resemble the dragon’s nostrils.
4. Cut Long strips of red and orange papers and ribbons, and glue these strips inside the roll, towards the nostrils of the dragon.
There you go! Your mini dragon is ready to blaze some flames!
Ask your child to blow air from the opposite end of the roll to watch the fire flames go!
