It’s our favorite time of the year when the raindrops start looking like jewels on leaves. What better time to teach the kids about the water cycle?
Our water cycle is easy to create and engaging too.
What you need:
– A paper plate
– Sketchpens/paint
– Permanent marker
– Transparent sheet
– A bulletin pin
Steps:
1. Draw the hydrological cycle and color it with sketchpens or paint.
2. Cut a transparent sheet corresponding to the size of the paper plate
3. Attach the sheet to the plate using a bulletin pin. Draw some raindrops on the sheet.
As you will move the sheet in a circular fashion, the drops will appear to move through various stages of the water cycle!
Encourage the curious minds of the little ones to explore the phenomenon and educate them using this simple yet interactive craft idea!
