Water Threading Board

It takes sunshine and rain to make a rainbow 🌈

It’s monsoons and it’s raining 🌧 so much. We were lucky to see rainbows in the clouds one day and made this threading weather board inspired by what we saw.

What you need:

  –  Cardboard

  –  Paint

  –  Pasta, painted blue

  –  Ribbon

  –  Glue

  –  Cotton

Steps:

 1.  Paint some clouds and a rainbow on a cardboard

 2.  Glue the cotton on the clouds, and pasta on the cardboard to resemble raindrops.

Your water threading board is ready! Ask your little one to thread ribbon through the pasta.

Threading is really important for the 2 to year olds for developing their pre-writing skills!

Note: Make sure you use a ribbon as it does not pull the pasta off. Sharpen the end of the ribbon by putting some glue on it or tie it around a toothpick so it acts as a needle.
