Air Dry Clay

Air dry clay, unlike traditional clay hardens at normal room temperature and can be used in a variety of ways!

Now you can create your own air dry clay at home using simple supplies!

What you need:

  • 100 gm of cornflour
  • 1tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 130 gm glue
  • Food coloring

Steps:

1.In a bowl, add the cornflour, lemon juice, glue vegetable oil and food coloring. Mix all the contents well.

2.Microwave the mix for 30 seconds.

Place the clay on some baking paper sprinkled with some cornflour and knead it like a dough. Make sure as you pull a part of the clay it takes the form of a tear drop.

Now you can flatten the dough with a rolling pin and give it any shape you want to!

It will harden at room temperature and then you can add more colors to it.

The air dry clay is sure to keep the kids engaged for hours! What a fun DIY, isn’t it?
