Heal the world 🌍
Teaching children about the world we live in, with all its delights and concerns, is the best way to sensitize them. These young minds will grow up to inherit this beautiful world. As parents we must make sure our children grow up nurturing values of sympathy and empathy.
With the aim of educating kids towards making this world a better place, we introduced this fun tape resist painting based on the notion of ‘Heal the World’. This creative painting idea is super simple for children even as young as the 2 years of age to perform!
What you need:
– Washi Tape
– White sheet
– Scissors
– Paints
– Paintbrush
Steps:
1. Take the washi tape and cut it into various shapes to form the desired alphabets. Stick these onto a plain white sheet. You may also make a small heart or any other shape you’d like, fitting the theme.
2. Ask your child to paint on the sheet however he may wish to! No rules apply!
3. Remove the tape carefully, one alphabet at a time to reveal the message of the painting.
There you go! Your easy, yet educational painting is ready.
Tip: If you do not have a washi tape, take a normal tape and place it on some jeans a couple of times, and then use it for the activity.
This painting idea is highly engaging and is simple enough for younger children, but will also hold the attention of the older ones! While performing this activity the children will creatively interact with the idea of world peace. It will surely open up some new, interesting conversations in your house!
